By the Mentors, For the Mentors, with Murdo Morrison, Eldera Mentor

As new Mentors join Eldera we often get asked similar questions. This section of the blog will point you to where you can find the information needed to be successful at Eldera.

Guides and video tutorials can be found in The Eldera Library and should be the first place to start. All are comprehensive sources that are designed by Mentors for Mentors.

The first is the Eldera Resource Guide, which will walk you through everything step by step, including explaining the process you’ll go through, preparing for your first session, getting setup with technology and connecting with the community. This can be downloaded in PDF format for future reference.

In addition, a series of four short video guides take you through:

Using The Library (Eldera website)

Zoom Basics

Using the Zoom Whiteboard

Creating and Replying to a Post

These resources were designed to include all the information you need to begin your mentor experience at Eldera. They can be used by new Mentors and provide a refresher course for existing Mentors.

We also encourage you to to use the Eldera Library where you can find an archive of suggestions and other materials from experienced Mentors and post your own ideas and questions in various categories. The Eldera Library messaging system also allows you to correct directly with other members.

Using the available resources will enhance and improve your Eldera Mentor experience.

If you are an approved Eldera mentor and have not yet accessed The Eldera Library, please email community@eldera.ai for an invite.
